Most powerful defense that you can unlock at Town Hall 10 is Inferno Tower. You can set inferno towers to single or multiple targets.
With latest Clash of Clans update you can now unlock Builder’s Apprentice at Town Hall 10. Assign him once a day to speed up upgrades and level him up to make him work even faster.
At Town Hall 10 you unlock two new troops: Miner from the regular barracks and Bowler from dark barracks. Miners can pass beneath walls and pop up right to next targets. Bowlers throw rocks and can bounce off target and hit behind it for a double strike.
You can also unlock Clone Spell which can create copies of troops. Also you unlock Bat Spell which summons bats wherever you want in battle field.
Archer Queen and Barbarian King can reach upto level 40 max at TH10. You can also switch to Minion Prince hero for defense it can go max upto level 20.
You can also upgrade all walls to level 11 at town hall 10. By upgrading walls you make ground defense stronger while it doesn't affect air troops.
Before you plan to upgrade to Town Hall 11 make sure to max all defenses, buildings, walls and troops.
Rushing base makes it easy for enemies to score 3 stars, while maxed bases are hard to score 3 star.
Inferno Tower. You can set it to single target to melt heroes and tanks or multi target to damage multiple targets. How you set it changes how hard your base is to triple.

Only after maxing defenses, buildings, walls and troops. Rushing makes your base easy to 3-star, while maxed bases work better on defense.
