TH17 progress base makes it easier to see exactly where your village stands while working through Town Hall 17 upgrades. Buildings are arranged by type or upgrade progress so unfinished defenses, walls and traps stand out instead of being scattered across normal defensive layout.
This is especially useful at TH17 when new defenses such as Firespitters and Multi-Gear Tower are being upgraded alongside older buildings. Keeping similar defenses together makes level differences easier to spot and helps you decide what should take next available Builder without checking every building separately.
Walls can be arranged in rows or separate sections so lower level pieces are immediately visible. As walls are upgraded, completed sections can be moved together, giving you clear view of how much wall progress is still left before your TH17 village is closer to max.
Traps are also easy to leave behind while expensive defense and hero upgrades take priority. Grouping Bombs, Giant Bombs, Seeking Air Mines and other traps together makes lower level traps easier to find when you have Builder available or want to finish smaller upgrades between larger ones.
Heroes and major defenses can be organized in their own sections so their progress is easy to compare. At TH17 this can help you keep track of upgrades across Barbarian King, Archer Queen, Minion Prince, Royal Champion and Dragon Duke while also checking Firespitters, Inferno Towers, Scattershots and other defenses that still need work.
Tap Select Base Type button when you want to switch from Progress to a layout made for actual defense. You can choose War, Farming, Legend League, Anti 2 Star, Anti 3 Star, Anti Air, Hybrid, Anti Everything and other TH17 base types. You can also sort available layouts by Latest, Most Views or Rating.
Progress base is mainly an organization tool and should not replace layout built for defense. Use it while checking upgrades and planning Builder work, then switch to Farming, War or Legend base when you need high protection. This gives you clear view of your TH17 upgrade progress without relying on an exposed progress layout for regular defense.
