Most TH17 triple attempts depend on getting opening exactly right. An RC Walk or hero attack clears selected defenses, Fireball removes another section and the main army follows path created toward core. These TH17 anti 3 star bases are built to break that sequence so Root Riders, Throwers and heroes do not reach remaining defenses together.
Firespitters become especially dangerous when they survive opening attack. Keeping them deeper in the layout makes them harder to eliminate early, allowing their attacks to hit Root Riders, Electro Dragons and grouped troops once main push is already inside. Rage Spell Towers can boost Firespitters together with Inferno Towers, Scattershots or Monolith when troops reach these compartments.
Root Riders and Throwers work best when funnel keeps army moving together. Dead zones, Inferno islands and separated compartments can break that path. Root Riders may move toward defenses on one side while Throwers and heroes stay behind or follow another route, leaving sections of the army fighting without support they were meant to have.
RC Walk defenses focus on stopping the Royal Champion from clearing too much before main attack begins. Hidden Tesla Farms, defensive heroes and traps can make RC ability trigger earlier, while Rage boosted Scattershots, Infernos and Firespitters keep dealing damage as she moves between defenses. If RC Walk ends before clearing its planned defenses, main army has to fight through defenses that were supposed to be gone.
Fireball attacks need several defenses positioned close enough to get strong value from one hit. Wider spacing between Monolith, Firespitters, Inferno Towers and other important defenses reduces what one Fireball can remove. The attacker may still destroy one target, but remaining defenses continue firing when main army gets deployed.

An anti 3 star defense can still succeed after Town Hall falls. The triple usually starts falling apart when the opening attack misses a planned defense, Root Riders split from their support or Firespitters and Infernos survive into final part of raid. Attackers can score 2 stars and high destruction but still run out of troops or time before clearing entire base.

Yes. Town Hall 17 anti 3 star layouts include direct copy links so you can quickly set base in Clash of Clans.
These layouts are built around common TH17 attacks including Root Riders, Throwers, RC Walk, Electro Dragons and Fireball attacks. Different layouts use troop pathing, Firespitters, Spell Towers, traps and defensive heroes to make it hard to score 3 stars.
Defenses can still stop triple if Firespitters, Inferno Towers, Monolith or other defenses survive into final part of attack. Split Root Riders, separated support troops or failed opening RC Walk can leave attacker without enough troops or time to clear remaining buildings.
