TH18 War Base Layouts for Clash of Clans

TH18 war attack is often decided before main army reaches core. RC Walk, Warden Fireball, Flame Flinger and hero entries are used to eliminate key defenses and create clean funnel for Throwers, Root Riders, Meteor Golems or Hydra. These TH18 war bases make that setup harder by using dead zones, split compartments, defensive heroes and protected defenses to leave unexpected targets standing when main deployment begins.

Thrower attacks become less effective when army cannot stay on route planned by attacker. Spread defenses and irregular compartments can pull tanks and heroes toward different targets while Throwers remain behind or move along the outside. Furnace troops in Clan Castle can add more damage and force attacker to deal with the defense while trying to keep main army together.

Root Riders also need support troops and heroes to stay close as they move through base. Layered walls and separated defense compartments make them retarget repeatedly, while large dead zones can pull part of army toward the outside. This gives Firespitters, Scattershots, Inferno Towers and Monolith more time to damage Root Riders and their supporting healers before they reach core together.

TH18 defenses become more tougher when attackers cannot remove them during start. Protected Firespitters can remain active for main push, while Revenge Tower becomes greater threat as other buildings fall. The current Season 3 Lava Launcher can add high damage along important attack routes and force attackers to spend spells or abilities earlier than planned.

RC Walk and Warden Fireball openings need different defensive answers. Large dead zones can pull Royal Champion away from planned targets, while Giant Bombs, Hidden Teslas and defensive heroes can shorten the walk. Important defenses can also be separated so one Fireball cannot remove several high value targets at same time.

Siege Machine value can decide close War attack. Long range X-Bows can lock onto Flame Flinger once it enters range, while Hidden Teslas add unexpected damage near possible deployment areas. Battle Blimp routes can be protected with traps and Invisibility Tower setups that make direct Town Hall or core entry less predictable.

Spell Tower placement changes how core performs against different armies. Rage can boost Firespitters, Inferno Towers, Scattershots, Monolith and defensive heroes during main army deployment. Poison slows grouped troops and heroes entering important compartments, while Invisibility can change targeting at moment attackers expect their army to move through Town Hall area.

  • TH18 war bases for Clan Wars and CWL with copy links.
  • Layouts to defend Throwers, Root Riders, RC Walk, Meteor Golems, Hydra and new meta attacks.
  • Protected Firespitters, Revenge Tower and core defenses that last longer during the main push.
  • Layered walls and dead zones will usually split troops and break planned funnels.
  • Spread key defenses will reduce Warden Fireball value.
  • X-Bows, Hidden Teslas and traps covering Flame Flinger and Battle Blimp setups.
  • Furnace and other Clan Castle troops can eliminate heroes and supporting troops.

Strong TH18 war defense does not depend only on protecting Town Hall. Triple can fail when an RC Walk ends early, Throwers lose their tanks, Root Riders split from their support or Flame Flinger fails to clear its planned section. If Firespitters, Monolith, Revenge Tower or other key defenses survive into final part of the attack, attacker can score 1 or 2 stars but still run out of troops or time before scoring 3 stars.

Yes. Town Hall 18 war layouts include direct copy links so you can easily set base for Clan Wars or CWL in Clash of Clans.

TH18 war bases commonly need to defend Throwers, Root Riders, RC Walk, Meteor Golems, Hydra, Electro Dragons and new meta attacks. They also need coverage against setup strategies such as Warden Fireball, Flame Flinger and Battle Blimp entries.

Furnace can work well against Thrower attacks, while Rocket Loons or Headhunters can target attacking heroes and force early abilities. Super Minions can provide additional damage against both ground and air attacks. Choose Clan Castle setup that fits the entry paths and based on where it is placed outside or middle.
