Each Town Hall 18 layout includes copy link, so you can open base in Clash of Clans without rebuilding every wall, defense and trap by hand. Pick base type you need, copy the layout and adjust your Clan Castle troops if matchup calls for different defense.
War and CWL: Choose layout that makes planned 3 star difficult. If your opponents regularly use Throwers, Root Riders, RC Walk or Hydra, pick base whose pathing and defensive setup are built around those attacks.
Legend League and Ranked: Use layouts that can handle different armies across repeated defenses. Changing bases when same entry keeps getting high destruction also makes your defense less predictable.

Anti Air: If you keep facing Hydra, Electro Dragons, Dragons or Dragon Riders, choose layout with good building spacing, Air Sweeper angles, protected air targeting defenses and traps covering likely flight paths.
There is no single TH18 base link that is best for every matchup. Check your recent defenses, identify which armies are getting the most value, then copy layout built for that problem instead of choosing only by appearance.
