Spell Tower placement plays major role in every layout. Rage combined with Poison keeps Inferno Towers and Monolith active while Root Riders move through core, while Invisibility Spell Towers hide important defenses until attackers are already committed. Defensive heroes are positioned near common entry points to slow hero dives before they reach center of the base.
Buildings are spaced to prevent Electro Dragons from chaining through multiple defenses and Air Sweepers are angled toward likely Blimp paths so early Town Hall attacks become much less reliable.
