Town Hall 18 adds more ways to improve defense with Guardians, Revenge Tower, Super Wizard Tower and Crafting Station. These TH18 base layouts cover War, CWL, Legend League, Ranked Battles, Farming and latest defenses, with direct links to copy layout you want into Clash of Clans.
Current TH18 attacks include Root Riders, Throwers, RC Walk, Meteor Golems, Hydra with Dragons and Dragon Riders, Electro Dragons, Super Bowlers and Dragon Duke attacks. Strong layouts are built around how these armies move through village, using dead zones, layered walls, split compartments and defensive coverage to make clean funnel through base harder to achieve.
TH18 Guardians add another layer to base defense, while Revenge Tower becomes more dangerous as buildings are destroyed during an attack. Placement matters because these defenses need to stay relevant as attack moves deeper into village instead of giving attackers easy value during opening.
Crafting Station adds temporary Crafted Defenses that change between Crafting Phases. Current Season 3 layouts can use the Lava Launcher, Roaster and Air Bombs. Lava Launcher is especially useful in many TH18 designs because its placement can add pressure to common ground attack routes, while right Crafted Defense setup depends on layout and armies you want to defend.
Firespitters, Monolith, Multi Gear Tower, Inferno Towers and Spell Towers form important defensive sections in many TH18 layouts. Rage Towers can strengthen several nearby defenses during main push, Poison Towers slow troops and heroes entering dangerous compartments and Invisibility Towers can change targeting around Town Hall or other important defenses.
Good TH18 pathing also makes popular openings less reliable. Large dead zones can lower value of RC Walk by diverting Royal Champion away from planned defenses. Spread defenses reduce number of important buildings a Warden Fireball can eliminate at once, while long range X-Bows and Hidden Teslas can target Flame Flinger before it clears an entire section.

No single TH18 layout is best choice against every army. If your clan keeps seeing Throwers in War, choose layout that makes their pathing and support difficult. If RC Walk, Root Riders, Hydra or Electro Dragons are causing problems, switch to base built around that matchup. Checking your defense log and rotating layouts also makes it harder for attackers to repeatedly use the same plan against your village.
